EMORA AI is an AI character chat platform where you can have immersive conversations with unique AI characters, generate images, build relationships, and explore creative worlds.
Is EMORA AI free to use?
Yes! You get 50 free GEMs when you sign up. Additional GEMs can be earned daily through check-ins, missions, and watching ads — or purchased. Core features are free.
How do I start a chat?
Browse characters on the Explore page, click any character, then click "Start Chat". Your conversation will be saved automatically.
What are GEMs?
GEMs are service credits used to access AI features: chat messages, image generation, video creation, and TTS. They are consumed per AI call and have no monetary value outside the platform.
GEMs & Billing
How do I earn free GEMs?
You can earn GEMs by: daily check-in (+5), completing missions (+5–8), watching ads (+3 each, up to 5/day), referring friends (+20 each), and relationship milestones.
How do I purchase GEMs?
Visit the GEM Store and choose a package. We use Toss Payments for secure checkout. GEM purchases are final and non-refundable.
Do GEMs expire?
GEMs purchased through the store do not expire. Bonus GEMs from promotions may have expiry dates shown at time of grant.
What is the refund policy?
GEM purchases are generally non-refundable. For exceptional circumstances, see our Refund Policy. Toss Payments processes all transactions as Merchant of Record.
AI Features
How does AI image generation work?
Each AI assistant message can generate a scene image based on your conversation context. Click the camera icon on any message to generate. Costs 3 GEMs per image.
How does video generation work?
After generating an image, you can animate it into a short video clip. Click the film icon on messages with an image. Costs 10 GEMs per video.
What is TTS (Text-to-Speech)?
TTS reads AI messages aloud in character-appropriate voices. Click the speaker icon on any message. Costs 1 GEM per playback.
Why did my image generation fail?
Some prompts may be declined by our AI safety systems. You will not be charged GEMs for failed generations. Try a different scene description or character interaction.
Account & Privacy
How do I change my password?
Go to Settings → Security section → Change Password.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Privacy Settings and use the "Delete Account" option. This permanently removes your data.
How do I download my data?
Under Privacy Settings, click "Request Data Export". Your data will be compiled and a download link will be provided within 72 hours.
Is my chat data private?
Your conversations are private to your account. We do not share individual chat content with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Characters & Content
Can I create my own characters?
Yes! Visit the Create page to build your own character. Created characters go through an approval process before being publicly visible. You can also earn GEMs when others chat with your characters.
How does character approval work?
New characters are reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 24–48 hours. Characters that violate our community guidelines will not be approved.
What content is not allowed?
Please see our Community Guidelines for the full list. Key restrictions: no real person impersonation, no CSAM, no illegal content.
What is the relationship system?
As you chat with a character, your relationship level grows from Stranger → Acquaintance → Friend → Close → Intimate → Soulmate. Higher levels unlock deeper conversations and special content.
Payments & Subscriptions
Who processes payments?
All GEM purchases are processed by Toast Corporation (주식회사 토스트) via Toss Payments, acting as Merchant of Record. EMORA is the platform provider.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept major credit/debit cards and Toss Pay via our checkout. Payment methods may vary by region.
I was charged but didn't receive GEMs. What do I do?
Contact us at administrator@tryemora.com with your transaction ID. We will resolve verified issues within 3 business days.
